We offer Contractors All Risks insurance (CAR) incorporating Plant & Machinery and Contract Works that will protect employers and contractors for loss or damage on any building site they work on. Typically, our policies provide cover for the cost of physical loss or damage to buildings works, installation and constructional plant and machinery including hire-in plant and tools.
With over 30 years’ experience working with the construction industry we have considerable expertise with Contractors All Risks. We work closely with you to study every aspect of your client’s contract to ensure the correct cover is in place, gaining a thorough understanding of all contractual obligations and the extent of cover needed throughout the works process, including Design Exclusion (DE) clauses. If necessary, we can also provide Public Liability insurance and Engineering insurance.
We can place business directly into the Lloyd’s market as well as certain other London markets and specialist insurers. As a result, we can arrange customised policy wordings to ensure suitability and quality of cover, giving you the confidence that your clients are properly covered now and in the future for risks including Financial Loss, Professional Indemnity, fatal injury on site and employee rehabilitation cover.
We have an online system to write business and for immediate reassurance we also have in-house binding authority. Personal phone support is available and we are also on hand to liaise with insurers and underwriters on your behalf in the event of a claim.
